The Hidden Biases in Modern AI
By Jeff Kolar
Modern AI systems, often called Large Language Models, learn from the vast expanse of the internet. While powerful, this training data is a mirror of human society, reflecting both its triumphs and its flaws. As a result, AI can unintentionally learn and perpetuate harmful biases related to gender, race, and even religion. This can manifest as stereotypes in generated text or images, reinforcing negative associations that are contrary to a worldview of equality and respect. At Kingdom AI, we recognize this challenge and believe it's a critical reason to be intentional about the data we use.
